GWGEM™

The market share leader, Asyst’s GWGEM provides equipment manufacturers with a connectivity solution that eases the task of equipment-to-host communication implementation, while complying with the SEMI generic equipment model (GEM) standard. The GEM standard, developed by a group of major semiconductor manufacturers, effectively provides connectivity with semiconductor factory automation systems. GWGEM supports 100% of GEM capabilities as specified in the latest published SEMI standard E30; including all fundamental and additional GEM capabilities. Asyst CSG’s long involvement in SEMI E30 standard activities provides users with regular updates, ensuring ongoing product compliance.

Ready and Prepared for Interface A & EDA

The latest release, GWGEM 5.0, has been optimized to provide a plug-in environment for Asyst EIB (Equipment Information Bridge, version 4.0 and greater). This enhancement allows GWGEM 5.0 users to easily add Asyst EIB and its Interface A (EDA) functionality and compliance to their systems.
